Media Room Hardwood Installation Mooresville
We were initially hired by Mrs. Kate to perform a screen and recoat on her hardwood floors on the main level. The transformation was so impressive, she brought us back to install new hardwood flooring in her second-floor media room and master bedroom downstairs.
The media room included a kitchenette with ceramic tile, which we carefully removed and replaced with hardwood to create a smooth, seamless look. One of the biggest challenges was matching the new stain to her existing floors—but with our expertise in hardwood floor refinishing and stain matching, we nailed it.
The result? A stunning, unified finish that left Mrs. Kate thrilled. She left us a glowing 5-star review, and her new neighbors were so impressed that they hired us too!
We love helping homeowners in the Lake Norman and Charlotte, NC area fall back in love with their floors. Whether you're looking to refinish scratched wood floors, install hardwood over tile, or simply refresh worn-out floors, we’d be honored to help you do the same.

Hardwood & Sub-Floor Installation Marshville
This beautiful 100-year-old home came with a few surprises—soft spots, rotted planks, and uneven, spotted stain throughout the hardwood floors. These issues are common in historic homes, and we knew just what to do. The homeowners, Noah and his wife, were especially concerned about safety for their two young children, and like many, initially assumed the floors just needed a quick touch-up.
During our inspection, we uncovered a major issue: there was no subfloor, and over 50% of the wood planks were rotten. We shared our findings with Noah, explained the repair process, and he quickly approved the necessary steps to ensure his family had a safe, long-lasting floor.
Phase 1: We ordered new pine floor planks and allowed them to acclimate for 5–7 days to prevent shifting or gaps.
Phase 2: We removed the old floor, added sister joists for structural support, and installed a brand-new subfloor.
Phase 3: We installed the new pine floors, then carefully sanded and refinished them to highlight their natural beauty.
The result was a gorgeous, safe, and durable floor that preserved the charm of this historic home while giving the family peace of mind.
Whether you're dealing with rotten hardwood flooring, need a subfloor replacement, or want a hardwood floor refinishing expert near you, we specialize in restoring homes the right way—with safety, quality, and craftsmanship at the core of every project.

Engineered Hardwood Installation & Refinish
The Jose Family recently relocated from up North to be closer to their daughter and grandchild. Their previous home had hardwood floors throughout, and they wanted to recreate that timeless look in their new space. While most of the home already featured engineered hardwood flooring, two rooms still needed attention to create a consistent flow.
In the laundry room, we installed luxury vinyl plank flooring over existing linoleum, a practical and stylish choice that provides excellent moisture resistance and durability—ideal for high-use, high-humidity areas.
For the remaining carpeted room, we installed glue-down engineered hardwood flooring to match the rest of the home. Since the house sits on a concrete slab, the glue-down method ensured strong adhesion, long-term performance, and a smooth transition throughout.
After the new floor installation, we allowed time for the engineered wood to acclimate. We then sanded, stained, and refinished the entire main floor and staircase for a uniform color and texture that tied every room together.
The result was a seamless, beautifully cohesive living space that gave the Jose Family the warm, elegant atmosphere they loved in their previous home.
Whether you're looking to refinish hardwood floors, install engineered hardwood on a concrete slab, or upgrade with luxury vinyl plank for laundry rooms, we provide expert solutions tailored to your home and lifestyle.

Uptown Charlotte Hardwood Floor Refinish
Project Trade Street took us to a stylish condo directly across from Bank of America Stadium in Uptown Charlotte. The homeowner, Evan, came home to a backed-up garbage disposal that had caused unexpected water damage to his hardwood floors.
The insurance company’s mitigation team removed a few planks near the dishwasher, but during our inspection, we uncovered two additional areas of hidden water damage that required attention to prevent further problems down the line.
After a thorough assessment, we ordered matching hardwood floor planks and prepared the site for repair. Evan selected a modern Silver Grey oil-based stain, which we finished with a satin water-based polyurethane—striking the perfect balance between durability and a sleek, updated look.
The final result didn’t just fix the water damage—it elevated the overall design of the condo with clean, modern elegance and seamless hardwood floor restoration.
